People Development Plan
The people development plan has been tailored to provide a strong foundation of learning as you commence your professional journey. This is your personal pathway to development and growth.
The program is a collaboration of the DFK ANZ firms. We understand the importance of relationships and so the learning as part of this cohort is essential to your development from both a technical and building working relationships perspective.
Collectively we will cover the essential services offered by professional accounting firms including:
- Xero accreditation
- Personal development and leadership training
Together we will learn more with the knowledge and support of our colleagues through sharing of technical and other business related experiences.

DFK Australia New Zealand offers a variety of opportunities for both Undergraduates and Postgraduates across all of our offices.
Undergraduate & Graduate Programme
For over 15 years, we have run a successful undergraduate and graduate programme that has engaged enthusiastic and eager to learn students, with a highly experienced team. The students have provided valued contributions to our organisation during their placement journey, having successfully become long-term employees of the firm, furthering their careers in management and leadership.
Each year we take on students in their final year of their studies or recent graduates to join our firm as part of our Graduate Training programme. Our training is then enhanced with links to a National Training Programme (People Development Plan) in conjunction with the other DFK ANZ offices throughout Australia New Zealand.
Our National Training programme helps navigate the careers of junior accountants within a national cohort of undergraduates/graduates allowing for formal and informal training as well as conferences around Australia to help build skill sets, networks and camaraderie.
As a DFK employee you will over your career be trained to work with clients nationally and overseas to better build your resume to be world class and comparable to the bigger firms, whilst still enjoying working within smaller and more engaged teams.
